The OnePlus 13  support Android’s Powered Off Finding feature

OnePlus has introduced an exciting new feature with the OnePlus 13 that makes the device much harder to lose or have stolen. The smartphone supports Android's   Powered Off Finding   feature, allowing users to locate their device even after it has been switched off or run out of battery

How It Works  : The feature uses a specialized Bluetooth controller that continues broadcasting location beacons for several hours after the phone is powered down

Privacy Protection  : All location data is encrypted, ensuring secure tracking

Technical Requirements  : Powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC

Uses Qualcomm's FastConnect 7900 connectivity subsystem

Requires specific hardware implementation by the manufacturer

The OnePlus 13 can transmit its location to nearby devices on the Find My Device network, which then relay encrypted information to Google's servers  . This means even if a thief turns off the phone, you can still track its approximate location

Users can enable  Settings > Security & privacy > Device Finders > Find My Device
