Apple limited Speeds in USB-C cable iPhone15

In iPhone 15, the USB-C connector is limited to USB 2.0 speeds (up to 480 Mbps, like the old Lightning connector).  

 

USB 3.0 speeds (up to 10Gbps) are only supported by the iPhone 15 Pro.  But even here, to achieve USB 3.0 speeds,

 

 you'll need to buy a meter Thunderbolt cable for $69 or a 1.8-meter cable for $129.  3-meter $159

Apple may also limit third-party charging power to 5W (5V and 1A), 

which would force you to buy only apple accessories.
