A Japanese woman made pigeon shoes so she does not scare them away.
Kyoto Ohata, a Japanese shoemaker has created an awesome pigeon-themed high heel shoe and everyone is freaking out seeing her wearing them. Some love it, others hate it but only a few know that they serve a very specific purpose.
Kyoto often walks through places that are filled with pigeons. Walking down the pavement, she used to scare those pigeons away. She then made a pair of DIY shoes that looked exactly like pigeons themselves, to disguise her human presence.
A woman is Japan created these pigeon looking shoes, as she though the other ones will create distress amongst pigeons.
She wanted to be up close to the birds, so she designed and crafted these realistic shoes at home.
This shoe designer ’Kyoto’, has inspired many to make their own heels.
Wearing them in a park, next to a man feeding pigeons, she demonstrates her design to the pigeons.
The pigeons seem to be more interested, but at the same time they aren’t fleeing away from her.
These striking and unusual shoes have made this woman a celebrity overnight.

1. Carve the Heads with a Foam
2. Carefully Cover It with Felt
3. Buy Some Cheap Black Heels and Glue the Body of the Pigeon to the Back of the Shoes
4. Cut the Wing Pieces from a Denser Felt
5. Cut Smaller Pieces of Gray and Black Felt to Use as Feathers. Gue Them onto the Wing Pieces
6. Attach the Wings Using PVA Glue
7. Using Softer Felt, Roll out 8 Balls That Will Be Eyes and Nostrils of Your Pigeons
8. Similar to Wings, Create Felt Shapes to Cover the Tip of Your Shoes
9. Use a Strong Wire to Make Feet. Cover the Wire in Red Felt to Make It Look Real
10. Attach Both the Feet, Including Nostrils, Eyes and the Beak
